We love to imagine stories of the objects we find: ¿Whose was it? ¿Where was it?

We found 3 chairs with an upholstered seat and a mat backrest in the vicinity of Colón Market in Valencia. We decided to change the proportion by removing the backrest and adding a handle made with cylindrical beech slats, to bring light and contrast with the existing wood.

We cleaned up the interior structure of the seat upholstery, leaving it in its natural color and with all the marks of the passage of time in sight, adding a sheet of wood painted by hand in a light color on the upper part.

From being dark and deteriorated chairs, they became stools with their own light and refined lines.
